APPEARANCE

Ochun wears dreadlocks with a brown headband and a large, brown, fur coat. He has a tattoo of a compass under his eye and wears casual clothing underneath his jacket. In his youth, he was a bespectacled young man that had short, neat, black hair and a blue collard shirt and dark jeans.

PERSONALITY

Ochun is a reckless character and is often seen making psychotic faces. His first appearance was leaping off a building and landing on Yunghoon car. Despite his craziness, Ochun is a very intelligent character and impressed Jonggun with his business skills the first time they met. Jinhyuk also decided to work with Ochun because he was one of the smartest heads of the crews. This is further supported by the fact that Ochun not only saw through Jinhyuk plans and predicted Jinhyuk betrayal but allowed it to happen in order to get Jinhyuk to create a distraction, allowing Ochun to have alone time with Janghyun.

In the flashback chapters, Ochun is introduced as a weak but ambitious person. Upon knowing more about Janghyun he praises him and wants to be like him, going to extreme lengths to get his attention. Many fans compare him to Jiho, as both characters wanted to be praised but got the wrong idea of being superior. However, while Jiho was often spiteful of Hyungseok friendship and used Hyungseok and Zin as a means to a higher status, Ochun desperately wanted to be a part of Janghyun friend group but was repeatedly rejected by Janghyun because he was not an orphan like the rest of them.
In the end, Ochun desperately wants to be accepted by Janghyun and Hostel, because he considers them family. In Chapter 239 he remarked that the “O” in Hostel should represent Ochun himself not Wonseok. It is later revealed, despite everything, he always considered Hostel his family above anything else and worked in his own way to protect them, such as covering Hostel B's payments to Jonggun and making Jonggun promise not to hurt Janghyun.

His reckless behavior and choices can be attributed to the fact that he cannot feel pain or emotions. This inability to feel anything also contributes to his obsession with Janghyun because he believes that Janghyun is the only one who has made him feel anything previously (this is later revealed to be false, and his guilt over his involvement in Hyeeun death is really what caused the feelings).

FIGHTING PROWESS

Not much is known about Ochun current fighting skills. He used to be weak when he was friends with Janghyun, however later he underwent training by Jonggun, as head of one the four crews.

While we don't know the components of his training we do know that Ochun feels no pain and fear from anyone. This gives him almost supernatural endurance and durability, to the point where he can even tank hits from Wonseok, Janghyun, and Jonggun with no issue. The training has also given him Aikido as one of his martial arts.

It is hinted by several characters that Ochun may be one of the strongest fighters in the entire series. Jinhyuk has noted that Wang Ochun rarely fights others on his own, relying on the Uncles instead. He also does not put much work into his crew, instead using Hostel as a means to find Janghyun. Jinhyuk even went so far as to say if Ochun had made any serious moves he would have been the one to "dissolve the four crews into one".

Additionally, Jungoo and Jonggun have noted in one of their conversations that it was ridiculous for Ochun to seek out Janghyun if he wanted to feel fear because Ochun was stronger than Janghyun.
